Guest guest
Ok so yesterday he had six chicken breasts for the day and lots of watered down grape juice. Today he has had four chicken breast so far (it's 4pm) and lots of watered down grape juice. So here's the interesting part. Kenzie always likes to carry around a tomato or an onion and just smell it and hold on to it. Go figure. Well today I had a half of a green pepper in my veggie drawer. He started eating it! I couldn't believe it. I let him have some of it and then he just threw it down on the floor after awhile. What do you make of that? I have been pleasantly surprised at his behavior over the last two days. He has been kind of hyper but happy. I'm not sure how much is actual happiness or he's getting high from all the white grape juice. He drinks ALL DAY LONG. Of course he's peeing all day long. I go through a large bottle of Welch's in the day but it is totally 50% water. He's asked for apples a few times but not bad. He seems to be constipated. He's had a couple of little poop smears in his underwear that were green. Normally he has two large soft poops a day and they are generally an orange brown color. I hope no one is eating right now. I think I will try cooked pears or apples tomorrow. Would baked apples be ok at this point? I'm keeping him home from school one more day. Thanks for all the support. Keep teaching me...I need it. Guest guest
Baked apples or pears would be fine to try tomorrow. Just make sure you bake them in a bowl/pan with a lid. Otherwise, the fruit dries out a lot when you bake it. If he likes cinnamon, sprinkle a little over the top and it will smell great while it is baking. And congratulations on making it through 2 days! Jody mom to -5 and -7 SCD 13 months

Guest guest
Penny, That's how it was for us. had never eaten a vegetable or fruit in his life(an apple 4 times) and now he likes green beans, peas, spinach etc. I read your other post too about the bread. has occasionally got ahold of an illegal too. We just keep going on. I watch him carefully though to check out how he reacts. Use it as a learning lesson sometimes we learn during the glitches too I have that's for sure ~Sheri mom to 8 1/2 ASD SCD 4 1/2 months
