Guest guest
Hi all, I do have something to share and actually it is really pissing me off. I had gotten down to 199lbs from 356 lbs and was so excited it took me over a year, then i start working out a little harder this week and went back up to 204lbs. I could just cry, I can't remember ever seeing the number 1hundred and anything since i was a little kid. I just don't know what to do. any suggestions???? MHall119 wrote: Hi all... I wanted to ask everyone about any weight-loss related accomplishments they've accomplished so far this year! I know we all had those new year resolutions... and maybe they were written in disappearing ink? LOL! Anyway, to begin this " sharing " , I want to say that I am doing about 60% of my goal to walk more often. I've been sick with almost every time of flu strain coming around, and my body is just now getting over weeks and weeks of YUCK! But in between on my good days, I walk the mall or I am exercising in my home. HOW ABOUT YOU? Got anything to share accomplishment-wise? Guest guest
Well, I lost 101 lbs from my original weight of 324lbs. I've lost 62 lbs. from surgery June 22, 2005. My mother asked me if I felt " old " because I'm turning 44 tomorrow. I said " no " I feel like I stopped time and got younger! My clothes are getting too big, I've gone from size 3x-4x & size 32 to 1X and size 20-22 (depend on label). Two Saturdays ago when it was hot, I wore a size 20 swimsuit that I bought in 1992 when I went to Palm Springs with my boyfriend (now husband). The old 3X swimsuit that I wore last summer was too big. (happy dance now!!!!) I dance on my dance mat every morning at 4:15am, 6 days a week (yes, my energy is in the morning, it's gone by mid afternoon). Working out for 45 minutes. Then I go to work and walk for 30 minutes before my 8 hour shift as a CS rep begins. The only thing I have to force myself to do is drink more water. > > Hi all... > > I wanted to ask everyone about any weight-loss related accomplishments > they've accomplished so far this year! > > I know we all had those new year resolutions... and maybe they were written > in disappearing ink? Guest guest
LOL not much!! I keep telling myself that I WILL go work out and I haven't gotten my tush to the gym to do so. There is even a Mom at my son's school who goes to the same gym and has offered to work out with me. This was last week. I'm SOOOOOOOO annoyed at myself. I also want to lose another 10 lbs, I want to see the 130's for at least 5 minuntes of my life!!!! I have my shakes and I'm ready to do it……… have I???? That would be a big fat NO. I'm having a real hard time getting motivated. I just need to suck it up and do it. LOL Thanks for asking Meloney!! ;P HUGS!!!!!!!!!!!! > > Hi all... > > I wanted to ask everyone about any weight-loss related accomplishments > they've accomplished so far this year! > > I know we all had those new year resolutions... and maybe they were written > in disappearing ink? Guest guest
if you are working out more, then you are most likely building more muscle. And since muscle weighs more than fat, it can make you seem to gain weight on the scale. Guest guest
, Don't forget that some of the weight may be muscle that you are adding (and that is a good thing). Just continue making right decisions (exercise and eat the right foods) and everything will sort it's self out in the end.
