NPSG #2e Handoff Communication

Some feedback please on how you are meeting the national patient safety

goal 2#e requiring the ability to ask questions on transfer of caseload.

We have very detailed coverage sheets and of course current

documentation on all acute care patients - and there is staff that work

the weekends that also work on friday but would not necessarily have Q & A

for all patients. How are you meeting the Safety Goals standard and

have you been through JCAHO since 2006.
