Welcome new members

Hello everyone.

I have been out of town for a few days and have been reading the almost 200

emails that were waiting for me. I have responded to specific things, but have

not welcomed the new members of our group properly.

Orphan_orange, I am so sorry about you possibly going into kidney failure at

such a young age. I hope that we can be of some help. I am glad that the

members have assured you that you will be OK, because dialysis or transplant is

a treatment. Isn't it wonderful that we can now live good lives with this

disease. My doctor even told me that there are dialysis cruises. What a

hoot!!!

Kathy, I hope that your husband is not starting the symptoms of end stage and

that he is just having a passing flu or something. If not, then know that you

will be in our prayers. I think it is sometimes harder on the spouses than on

the person with the problem.

Krissy, I am so glad that your pregnancy came out OK and that you baby is

healthy. I hope that they can keep you stable enough to have another baby.

Rotghi, you are already in just a few days a great and active member. I am sure

that you will be a great asset to the group. You have very interesting

contributions.

B., you have come to the right place. There are many members who have

children with this disease. I agree though, it affects every parent who has a

child who has this no matter how old the " child " . My 87 year old mother keeps

saying that I can have one of her kidneys because she doesn't really need it.

(her blood type is wrong) Plus at 87?! It makes me sad though that she is so

worried.

, I am so sorry that you are down and not well. I hope that things improve

soon. We will miss your attention to the group. But it is good news that

and Cy are going to be moderators. At lest you wont have to worry about

that. Thank you and Cy.

If I missed welcoming anyone I hope that you will understand that I am not

trying to slight you, but that I just missed the email. I am glad to be back in

the fold. I missed all of you while I was gone.
