Guest guest
Hi all, After hearing the news that Jax's hips were clear it gave me hope that things were lookin' up. Today he saw the doc and PT/OT and they all suggested he go to Minneapolis to see a Brachial Plexus doctor. They think that he has scar tissue that is on a nerve, causing problems with his right shoulder, weakness, etc. He's moving his arm, but it's weaker than the left and he prefers to use the left rather than the right and can't get the right one up too high. Not sure when we go, they are going to set it up - it's about 2.5 hour drive. His neck is doing good, almost full ROM, which is great. Has anyone else here gone through the Brachial Plexus and if so, what should I expect from this NEW doctor? Thank you.. Guest guest
Kim, I'm sorry you're going through this. I know how you're feeling, one of children has mild CP. I took me over a year to get her dx'd, we went from doctor to doctor to doctor. The upside is, once they find out what is wrong things really do calm down. Keep your chin up. --- In Plagiocephaly , " kasaint_2 " <kasaint_2@y...> wrote: > Hi all, > After hearing the news that Jax's hips were clear it gave me hope > that things were lookin' up.
