Guest guest
I tried this too. Even industrial strength Sharpies come off with rubbing alcohol and even just wear from the baby rolling around, and it's really hard to clean the band without getting alcohol on the outside. The stuff you use to seal it may also cause the marker to run. I got some 3-D paint from the craft store. I think it is supposed to be used on fabric, but I tried it on the band and it still hasn't come off after 2 months of this boy sliding around on it (I wrote " Prince " on the back of the helmet and of course he sleeps on his back and moves around in the car seat). It takes a while to dry so I sat there with a blow dryer, and you have to practice a bit before you try writing with it or you might get air bubbles coming out and messing up what you want to write. Hold the bottle upside down and tap it for a minute before you write to get the bubbles out of the tip. , 19 1/2 mos, tort, DOC Band 5/7 --- In Plagiocephaly , kelly <docbandbabies@s...> wrote: > HI Everyone, > I am needing to know if there is a good paint pen or permanent marker to use on the band. I am wanting to have all her therapists and so on sign her band at her exit appointment on the 23rd, but I haven't heard of a pen/marker that will stay on. I plan on sealing the band when we get home to perserve the writing so I will need something that won't come off in the process. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!! > > in Texas > Mom to DOC Banded 5/03 > Plagio/Brachy/Tort > > > > Hey Everyone, Visit 's NEW Web Page at: > www.babiesonline.com/babies/k/kathryn9703 > Make sure to Sign Her guestbook!!! > Banded Babies Are Beautiful
Guest guest
Hi , Maybe a permanent laundry pen would work. I just don't know if it will write on plastic. It definitely will not come out of fabric.
