Guest guest
Hi , Oh we got some here in Silver Spring, land. They were initially calling for 10-12, then knocked it down to 3-6, I would say we probably got about 8 " . I am about to go out to do some shoveling (a little limited because my shoulder is still healing) and will take some pics and post them later. My family up on Long Island was in the blizzard zone, so hopefully they are faring well (will call them a bit later). Kathy 284/226/145 10/20/2005 Open RNY Prox. Guest guest
Well, after shoveling what I could, I finally started my Jeep and put it into 4x4 and plowed the rest down with the tires...my shoulder hurts. Hopefully I didn't do any damage. My family on Long Island got over 2 feet of snow and from the sound of it, my dad has had enough of the white stuff for the year. If I get any pics from them I will post them too. I created a temporary picture folder Nor'easter 2006 if anyone wants to add their pictures to it. I didn't get any people in my pics (hubby and daughter were sleeping...yes at 11am). I couldn't keep the 2 older dogs out, they were not up for the challenge of dealing with the snow and then I had to get my cocker spaniel in because he was turning into a snow ball because of all of his fur collecting the snow, so the pics are just around the yard.
