So

is there a better way (less pain) to get rid of them? They aren’t a problem right now –

which is why I believe the doctor wanted to do banding. For less pain and faster recovery would

it be better to wait until they flare up and handle them another way?

the way, he is also having a colonoscopy on the same day. He asked the doc do you have those pills

my wife talks about? (TJ didn’t

know the name) sure enough he came out of the office waving his scrip at

me. No gallon from hell for him!

My GP and GI Dr. both said that is the easiest for the patient, I would have questioned that at the time. I have used lots of hemorrhoid cream and still have hemorrhoids. They all say surgery is more painful. The last time they did not give me any anesthetic and no prescription for pain meds., however I have some on hands but wouldn't take them because they are so constipating and you sure don't want that at a time like that.

Best wishes

That was not an option for me. I had that done when I was pregnant many years ago but this was not a blood clot so that wouldn't work for this kind. Part of it comes from childbirth so the Dr.'s say and muscles giving away.
