Actually I have heard the information from some of the peds that I

have worked with, I am an nurse and have worked ob and peds. When I

found out my son was getting a helmet and I talked to some of them,

they mentioned this finding. I also have a neighbor who is an

occupational therapist and sees the babies come in to their ot/pt

clinic and she mentioned that to us from birth, stressing the

importance of tummy time/mainly for delays, not thinking we'd end up

with plagio. Also, when my son was aobut 6 weeks old we took him to

Infant massage and the commmunity nurse there mentioned it and

stressed the importance of tummy time. (that's the funny part for my

son, he loved being on his tummy he wasn't the typical plagio

candidate). I think she may have given us an article on it so i can

locate our folder and try and look for it. I can also ask my

neighbor.
