I had to laugh at the " you need a new travel agent " My travel agent is a

good friend of mine and we have gone on several trips together. We flew

to Seattle last month on comp tickets and because they were comp we kept

getting bumped because the flights were over booked. They leave every

half hour from Portland to Seattle and we ended up spending SEVEN hours

in the airport waiting for a flight. It takes a little under four hours

to drive so we could have driven there and back in that amount of time!

So after about five hours we were getting really frustrated and my

friend say's to me " Your travel agent really sucks! We should fire her

when we get back " So now we have this ongoing joke about how bad my

travel agent is. Seriously though, I asked her how come she couldn't

find hotels and she say's its because the system they use only lists

hotels with a certain cleanliness rating, and so places like Super 8 and

Motel 6 aren't in their directory. Also a lot of independently owned B &

B's and places like that aren't listed because it costs to be listed

with the service. We ended up finding a place anyway by calling the

Chamber of Commerce and getting a listing.
