There is not even a local when you get your fill and it doesn't hurt as much as a regular injection. Our meeting is in the evening if that is any help. Because not only do you need to lose that weight, but keep it off as well. I was 120 kilos banded and am at 90 kilos after being banded in May 98, tummy tuck in Sept 2000. 140 kilos my top unpregnant weight. I spent to day gardening in my two piece bathers today and for some reason every man and his dog decided to drop in on us. Usually we are left in peace. I must say I've never heard of anyone who has so little to lose being banded...... you should have great and very quick success, and I wish you luck with the procedure. Like you, I am also 5'3 " , and really rather thrilled to be weighing just a little more than you currently do.... you see, I started out at 132 kg and have lost around 45 kg. *Smile* And yes, we do meet in Melbourne, and we would be delighted to have you attend our meetings. We generally meet on the 3rd Tuesday of the month, so the next one will be held on Tuesday 21st November at 7.30 pm at the South Yarra Primary School in Punt Rd, cnr Pasley St. North.
