I am so sorry to see the new trials that you will be dealing with....Lets just pray that he does as well with this new treatment as he did with the last.... will definately be thinkging and praying for you both as the treatments start tomorrow.... please try to keep in touch... how are the kids doing...this must be hard for them now...especially after seeing him bounce back so well.... Guest guest Posted June 7, 2003 Report Share Posted June 7, 2003 hello leslie, i'm so sorry to hear about mark but it's good that they can do the surgery.we will be praying for both of you. billy had bile duct cancer last year at this time.he did chemo with a low dose and the strongest radation,he was pronance cancer free and put back on the list in august.he went into the hospital on august 28 and was there until he got his transplant on sept 24. and was doing great until a couple of weeks ago his stomanch and back started hurting and was in alot of pain so they ran a lot of test and found out that the cancer has come back and its in his bile duct,we were hoping that they could do surgery, but they are not able to. the only thing they can do is give him a very high dose of chemo he had his first one yesterday, and it really knock him off his feet. he goes back everyother friday for chemo.but this time he is alot stronger and his liver is healthy. After her mastectomy, she was cancer free 6 years. She surprised everyone by living three years plus 2 months after it hit her liver. One of the things that helped her was her positive attitude. Your positive attitude and fighting spirit will be the best thing (along with prayers) for you and Billie.
