Thank you all for your support. Robyn you are awesome, thanks for calling me

yesterday. Got me smiling more today with the posts. I am sooo excited, I

couldn't wait to share with you all. I am not going to pretend that im not in

pain, because I am from the gas in the surgery. I am doing so much better then

expected and I am EXCITED!!! I look forward to sharing this with you all.

Pre-op I had gas real bad due to acid reflux and my husband would pat me

gently on my bad or massage a little and that would give it a lot of movement.

He

would also rub up over and over and it would move to where I could burp it out

really well. The day of my surgery I didn't really have a hard time with gas

due to me having this problem and I just told my company at the hospital to

excuse the burping it had to come out.

So let someone give you a GENTLE pat and see if this helps it did me.

Shauna,

That happened to me after my surgery (12/12/05). My surgeon

suggested putting a heating pad on the area where the pain is. My

pain would be very sharp up in my rib cage with every breath I took

in. Hope this helps.
