I've not really posted but since we're all Michiganders I felt I

should pipe up. My name is Mike and I'm in Grand Rapids. Surgery date

is this Friday Jan 20. I have Priority Health insurance. Are either of

you coming to GR for your surgery?

Hi Mike,

Actually i had my surgery a year ago, at the hurley medical hosp in flint, my

anniversary is on the 18th and i have lost 150lbs. Where at in grand rapids are

u having your surgery?

Mine is Jan 20 with Dr. Kemmetter at Blodgett. Dr. K is out of MMPC.

Id be happy to see you. I was gonna look for you before I left. I

have pictures up on this site so if you look at them youll know what

I look like.

I'm a little nervous but looking forward to feeling more full. This

800 calorie a day fasting they've got me on is a killer right now.

They're putting in a temporary filter to help me avoid blood clots on

the 19th. Anyone else having/had that done?

Hello,

I had my surgery on 11/09/05, and I also had a filter put in before my surgery.

It was an

interesting process, but relatively painless. I had a sore neck for a day, both

for insertion

and removal. I also have Priority Health.

HOW COOL IS THAT??!!??!!!???!!!!! You guys are having surgery a day

apart at the same hospital!!!! WWHOOOOOO HOOOOOO!!! What a small

world.
