Guest guest
Laurie, Are the pins and the key chains that were sold at the Conference different than the ones that I ordered? I didn't know that there was a choice. If so what is the difference between them? Thanks Ann-Marie pins and keychains > Please let me know if you want to buy any of the pins or > keychains that were sold at the conference. Guest guest
Sheila It will be between $26.50 and $27.00. I'll let you know the exact cost tomorrow. Do you want the 1-1/4 inch flat pins or the 1 inch domes pins or a mixture? laurie > From: Smz143@... > Reply-To: > Date: Mon, 01 Jul 2002 13:32:07 -0400 > To: > Subject: Re: pins and keychains > > Laurie, > > How much would I owe you for 3 keychains and 3 pins? > > I will send you out a check asap. > > Thanks > Sheila > > Medical advice, information, opinions, data and statements contained herein > are not necessarily those of the list moderators. Guest guest
Kristie Thanks for that info. I knew the priority ones were, but not the others. How do they trace it, if you don't have an insurance slip? laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Mon, 1 Jul 2002 17:39:23 -0400 > To: < > > Subject: Pins and Keychains > > Laurie, > I rounded off my order so hopefully you will have enough. Guest guest
Kristie, Did the automatically insured just go into effect? Before the price increase I still had to pay $1.10 for $25 worth of insurance. I think it was $1.10 per $50 value. I know UPS has always been $100 automatically but I was not aware of the post office. The clerks at our local post office are pretty helpful. I would think they would have told us. Guest guest
Janet and Kristie I checked with the post office on this and they said that it was USP that had this - just as you said Janet. UPS has a tracking system and the post office doesn't. The post office said that if someone receives something damaged, that they might cover the cost, but not as a rule without insurance. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Sat, 6 Jul 2002 12:03:37 -0500 > To: < > > Subject: Re: Pins and Keychains > > Kristie, > > Did the automatically insured just go into effect? Guest guest
Thanks Laurie--I was a little surprised our local clerks did not say anything. They are very helpful. I used to do order entry for my company and we shipped a lot of stuff UPS. That is how I know about the $100 insurance. When UPS went on strike a couple of years ago we used the post office and that is how we found the rules. United Postal Service is about the same cost or sometimes a little cheaper, sometimes higher depending if you have a light or heavy package and how far it has to go. The post office just started doing priority mail that is greater than 2 lbs on a zone basis also so I think they are going to be close in rates for heavier packages. For me, UPS used to be more convenient because they came to where I work. But now the post office is more convenient.
