Guest guest
I hate to tell you this... Your life will never be " normal " again as far as the food aspect. You will have to be conscious about it all of the time. I would really attend counseling for the first year after your surgery. It really will help you work through your food issues. You may feel lonely because your old " friend " food is gone. Not only should you not use food as a a friend, you won't be able to. Find a good support group too. This will help you be social in a group of people who know what you are going through. Don't do this exclusively, but it will help to balance your life. www.obesityhelp.com might point you in the direction of a support group of young people. Good luck on your journey.
