I hate to tell you this...

Your life will never be " normal " again as far as the food aspect. You will

have to be conscious about it all of the time.

I would really attend counseling for the first year after your surgery. It

really will help you work through your food issues. You may feel lonely because

your old " friend " food is gone.

Not only should you not use food as a a friend, you won't be able to.

Find a good support group too. This will help you be social in a group of

people who know what you are going through. Don't do this exclusively, but it

will help to balance your life. www.obesityhelp.com might point you in the

direction of a support group of young people.
