My very dear friend had it 1 yr ago and is one of the " very successful " ones. She has lost 160lbs. At first I was terrified of the surgery and have visited a dr 3 times. After the year with my friend and researching myself, I have decided it is the best thing for me. I am very new to this as far as the beginning stages of getting the surgery done. I have my dietician consult ans psych eval in the next week. I wont beable to see the dr. again to discuss a surgery date until I complete the pre surgery requirements. I am impatient and once I get my mind set on something, I want it done yesterday. I am married and have 2 girls. 6 and 8. My eight yr. old daughter is developmentally delayed and at my age, I am afraid I will not beable to take care of her. Well that is a short version of who I am. Hope to get to know all of you soon.
