Guest guest
Thanks . Your generosity and kindness is abundant. I am a member of Spencers Treasures. We donate toys to childrens cancer wards here in Orange County and the SoCal area. There is nothing more painful to see a sick child especially in a hospital at Christmas. http://www.spencerstreasures.org The Secret Buddy program is supposed to be a fun activity designed to bolster your fellow LOSERS spirits. I don't expect anyone to go bankrupt or deny themselves anything to provide for a buddy. Just a small token gift. Everyone had PLENTY of time to send a gift. Of course life happens. In that case they should have had the decency to inform their buddy so they weren't disappointed. Better late than never. Me, I signed up to giv egifts. I am a giver and enjoy buying stuff for others. It's also nice to receive a kind word or email from your buddy too, Giving is a two way street or everyone would be takers.... It hurts to see someone get their feelings hurt. As someone who was once morbidly obese, I had my feelings hurt many a time. You would think that our community would be more sensitive to feelings in that respect. We will start the program again next month and I will hand pick the buddies. Those that met their obligations will remain paired. Those who overlooked their buddies feeling will NOT participate. In the meantime it is reaffirming that kindhearted members like you, R, Carol Sly and others emailed me and offered to be the Secret Buddy for the woman who received nothing from her buddy. Unfortunately, I don't know who she is. I would be happy to personally send her a Christmas gift. In any event, I see the Holiday Spirit is still alive and well. , thank you for your big heart. How's our Junior LOSER member baby na Leigh doing? My best to you! Robyn > > > In a message dated 12/22/2005 2:41:10 P.M.
