Kel,

And what a beautiful bright side she is too ! Thank you for the photo. I received so much

delight in seeing her. She is an angel. Kel, my thoughts are with you. You sound strong

and keep focusing on those high points. You make me feel humble. I truly wish you only the best.

Were you able to enjoy the fun of Luna Park. I remember when I was a child on Christmas

night after (my family of 8) had spent a full day with relatives and fed a feast by my Auntie

Dottie we would look forward to an annual visit to Luna Park (Melb).

My thoughts will be with you on 22nd.

kind regards

Gail (Stormy)

Pre-op tests and other bits and pieces *pls virus scan 1st just incase

Hi good to hear from you.LOL at Bruce! Next time my hubby complains about me nagging I'm going to tell him what a bargain he is getting, a full time personal trainer for free!!!! LMAO.Congradulations Lee.Virus - I opened those messages that apparently had viruses and I didn't get any warnings, I since up-dated my virus scan and even downloaded a few of those net ones but have still not found Kak in my computer so I apologize if I have it and am passing it on, please let me know if I am.Pre-op tests - I've been told I have to have a barium meal test (I'm sure I didn't spell that right but what do you expect from someone who got 0 out of 100 for a spelling test they actually attended, I'll just apologize now for all future mistakes while I'm at it, LOL). I'm sure not everyone has to have one but I do because of the following reasons -1 there is a history of hiatus hernias in my family2 I had reflux during 8 months of my pregnancy3 I threw up everyday while I was pregnant and ended up in hospital a few times because of throwing up blood from a tear in my throat (I lost 10kg, but what a way to do it!, and still had a 4 kg (8lb/15oz) baby so she still got well fed even if I didn't)My doctor said because of these things he would like to do this non-routine test to check that I don't have a hernia and that I didn't do any permanent damage during my pregnancy. All I know about the test is that I have to swallow this gross chalky stuff and they watch it go down to see what's happening in my insides so if anyone else has had one of these tests or if anyone out there has a hiatus hernia could you let me know your experience please. What's happening with me - well some bad news this week (after all the good stuff last week, I suppose I should have seen it coming but I'm just too optimistic at times!). We can not have anymore children due to my hubbys chemo, I've decided to look on the bright side, we have a beautiful little girl (I've added a pic at the bottom to prove I'm not just biased, hope that's ok) who is a miracle as we had not planned to have kids till our 30's but 3 months after we got married we both got so clucky over our friends new borns that we decided we just couldn't wait. They have also told us 25% of people who have bone marrow transplants die within 2 months and that even with my hubbys age and good health before he got diagnosed he still only has a 30-60% of long term survival but again I'm going to look on the bright side, they told me he wouldn't survive the night during his first stay in hospital so 60% (I'm going to focus on the highest as well) is sounding pretty good to me.I'm hoping to meet up with Cath in Sydney on the 29th, it would be great to be able to speak to someone face to face about the band, Angie, let me know if you can come and I'll pick you up on the way.I won tickets to Lunar Park for New Years Eve, so if my hubby is out of hospital we are going with 2 of his mates, should be a top night! My operation is still on for the 22nd of Jan, can't wait! as I seem to be eating as if every meal is my last!b'de b'de That's all folks! from me till after Christmas at least, so have a fantastic Christmas everyone, enjoy being with your family and friends as 'you never know what's around the corner' and 'life's too short' (my 2 favorite sayings since my hubby got sick).Best wishesHugsKell (aka Kacey)_________________________________________________________________________Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.-------------------------- eGroups Sponsor -------------------------~-~>Big News - eGroups is becoming Yahoo!
