Hi all,

I haven't said a whole lot for several weeks. I've been working! It's a

temporary full-time job until the Indiana election May 2. I've been working

in the Election Board/Voter Registration Office. We have been so busy

lately, the biggest break I have had all day was a 10 minute lunch. Needless

to say, my poor body is one big pain and I come home and take three-hour naps

trying to get the energy to stay up a few hours with my family. Plus, I have

been working for the past two weeks with a dislocated thumb, in a splint.

Try typing with a splint on your thumb. Unfortunately, they don't have the

dragon at work! And, it doesn't seem to be healing - the doc at the

Emergency Rom two weeks ago said see a doctor if it didn't feel better in

three or four days. That was about a week and half ago and it still hurts to

try and bend it and if it goes backward at all, I go through the roof. I've

got an appointment on the 10th. I'll have to deal with it until then, but

this splint is a pain. Plus, with a thumb splint, wrist brace and silver

ring splints, I have to go through a metal detector every time I come back in

the courthouse, where I work and I beep every time. They just use the wand

all the time now. Oh well, only 3 more days. Wish me luck on Tuesday

(election day) - it will be a 12-14 hour workday. Anyway, just needed to

vent a little. A few prayers to chase away the extreme stress and pain would

be very much appreciated right now. Thanks gang!
