Guest guest
My son never ever tried to take off his band, and he HATES hats to this day. The bands contour to their heads so well that most babies do not even notice them. The 23 hour rule is best the gold standard for wearing the bands. No one can predict when growth will occur and you don't want to take a chance in missing even 1mm of growth in the band. I think you will be pleasantly surprised how well Sammie adjusts to her band. Good luck, and let us know how it goes. -mom to Aidan > My daughter sammie gets her helmet today...any suggestions for more > comfortable sleeping or long rides in a car seat. Guest guest
Please let us know how the fitting goes. My daughter Willow also takes any and every hat/cap off. She never messed with her helmet which surprised me. She also slept wonderful in it. Our kids surprise us sometimes. Good luck Sandy Willow's Mom Torticollis resolved Cranio Germany Grad 04 > My daughter sammie gets her helmet today...any suggestions for more > comfortable sleeping or long rides in a car seat. Guest guest
If the fit is correct, she should have no problem with sleeping. Let us know and good luck. Guest guest
Hi! How did Sammie's fitting go? It is really important that you try and keep it on her for the full 23 hrs to get the best possible outcome. Hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised on how well she adjusts! My Hannah got her 3rd band at 15 mos and readjusted fine after 4 mos off. She does occasionally take it off if she has an itch, but then we put it right back on. Her pony tails and barrettes are another story though! I spend my day often trying to put them back in! , mom to Hannah, DOCband #3 3/30 Cape Cod, Ma > My daughter sammie gets her helmet today...any suggestions for more > comfortable sleeping or long rides in a car seat.
