Exercising....not exactly my favorite thing. But for the month of January I've

been challenged by my personal trainer, my best friend, and my parents. For

every day I exercise in January they are each giving me $1 to put in my Nip Tuck

Bucks Jar (it's for my tummy tuck once I hit my goal!). So far, so good, I've

walked 3 days and plan to today. by the end of the month I'll have over $100 to

put in my Nip Tuck Bucks, and the encouragement and accountability from each is

really keeping me going!

It is great to have you back!!!!!! Wow is your hubby okay now? I'm

glad the flu decided to finally leave your home!!

I understand the walking thing!! I haven't worked out once at the

gym the month of December!!! When my oldest goes back to school next

week........ I'm back at the gym!!! I'm up in-between 2 to 3 pounds,

which isn't bad considering pre op I would have been up 10 to 20

lbs!!!! :)

I know you will get back on track; we just have to kick ourselves in

the tushies every once in awhile!!!! We are here for you if you need

help!!

Hugs!!

Hey .. YOU'RE SO NICE!

Yes, his finger is still attached, but the accident scooped off his

fingernail and put a " gutter " on the finger tip. BEYOND PAINFUL! They

didn't put stitches in it because it would effect the nerves.. so he has to

protect it against banging, etc. he wears a bandage on it now to keep it

clean and also to NOT make people ill when they look at it. When it first

happened, it looked like a burnt piece of firewood.. But now it looks like a

pink piece a firewood as it is healing. We are hoping his nail grows back

on and the finger becomes less tender.

OH, we are so happy he didn't lose his digit!!!!!!

But everything hit all at once, and I couldn't even be in the hospital with

him because I was very ill. he told me over the phone and updated me every

hour by phone. Often I'd here him scream in pain, and I told him to NOT

call me when they are working on him. you know how we HATE when our loved

ones are hurting!!!!

Thanks for the welcome back! This board is SO active. Golly. it's hard to

keep up with it when you leave it set at " receive emails.. " I WANT to

receive them, but if it is left up, I get over 300 messages a day from here.

That's the life, huh? I'm GLAD that so many are here chatting and

discussing so many things.

I've done both the no-email and the digest thing. I prefer the individual

emails, although there ARE many. When I know I'm going to be away for

awhile, I'll put it on no email. But see.. I'm not " connected " then, you

know? I guess I'll figure out what works best for me. You guys here are

TOO FUN. that's the problem right there! LOL

LOL I'm just glad you are back!!! You were missed!!

Okay I've got to tell you reading that your hubby lost his nail and

was screaming in pain while on the phone with you gave me the

willy's!!! I cannot imagine the pain!!!!! UGH I stub my toe and

whine let alone lose a fingernail..... I'm so glad he isn't lose

his finger and that you are feeling better!!!!

As far as the board being to active, I go no email and come to the

board directly to read and post messages. This way it doesn't

clutter up my in box and I think it is easer to come directly to the

board. You could also do a daily digest. This way you get one or 2 e-

mails rather than 50 - 100.

:)
