Guest guest
, Sometimes Prednisone causes blood sugar problems. One of the symptoms of that is an unquenchable thirst. Please ask your doctor to check your blood sugar tomorrow. When you have been weaned from Prednisone, you feel pain in your limbs and an aching in your body. It is the body craving some more. It will pass in about a week to ten days for at least it did for me. Please let us know what the doctor says. I'm glad the bruising is going down but think he should look at it anyway. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow. Alice
Guest guest
, I push Lasix 160mg IV two time a day. i am on aldactone 25mg pills -- 2 pills 2 time a day and i also take a drug called dyrenium -- while they two are diuretics they " spare potassium " you don't want potassium two fall two low from lasix it can do a LOT of harm.......severe muscle cramping two heartattack -- i am a RN but don't practice anymore -- i suggest if you feel weak or crampy or just not yourself and you are not on anything so that your body holds the potassium at a normal level while the lasix do it job you should calll your doctor right away and get on something. Potassium can fall very very rapid and effect many thing in a negative way. Eileen

Guest guest
Hello Gang: Not much news at the doctors office this morning. Another blood test. Felt awful, and he knew it. " just gon'a take time " I feel like I have a bladder or kidney infection, bladder hurts, and so does my back. I did get cut back to 1/2 lasix pill though. And I had lost 4 #. Wish I could loose 14 more. My arm it depends on where you look, the original site of the brusing is now yellow, but below the elbow is dark, dark, dark, will just take time. I wonder what made the blood vessel so weak that it broke in the 1st place? Today I received a packet from MDA, will get it sent in, and see if any thing becomes of that. Now, " y'all take care " over the week-end. Should be a rest to some with Yahoo down. Maary - Bruising > , > > How is the bruising on your arm? Guest guest
I bruise very easily and have been worked up twice by a hematologist. Both times they said I have weak walled capillaries. My son has been diagnosed with Ehler Danlos syndrome as well as mito. This is a collagen disorder, so I wonder if this may be part of the cause. I also keep a scar from a bruise - it stays kind of gray in that area. I know others have mentioned this too. I wish I could make the time go by faster for you. laurie > > Hello Gang: > Not much news at the doctors office this morning. Another blood test. Felt > awful, and he knew it. Guest guest
, I'm glad you let us know how the appointment went. I was watching for your post because I knew today was the day for the appointment. Did the doctor say that the pain you are feeling is a result of going off the prednisone or did you not discuss that? I guess as long as he's not worried about the bruising, it must be getting better. I know when you see the yellowing, that's healing. I hope you get good news from the MDA. They have done much for many of us. Alice
