Guest guest
If she is a RN working on her own or incident to the physician she/they can not bill Medicare for her services. Her certification means nothing to Medicare. Mulvey, MS, PT, CLT MLD Question to the group: There is a RN in our area who is certified in Lymphatic Drainage. She works in a physician office in the area. Recently we have learned she is billing the manual therapy codes. She does not bill for an evaluation nor does she do a plan of care. Does anyone know if a RN with a manual therapy certification has the ability to bill for manual therapy? Thanks, Ken Muller, PhD, PT Director of Outpatient Rehab Memorial Health Systems Stuart, FL.
