Guest guest
Marik I have lymphedema in my right arm from node removal. You may have some neuropothy, I don't know what chemo they are giving you. I had chemo back in 1991 and had A/C along with 5-FU. Now I believe they give A/C and taxol. You need to tell your onc. of any side effects, that's what they are there for! hugs Pam
Guest guest
I like the sound of the word normal. That's a good thing. My guy lives about 2 hours away, but he is being distant, not as many phone calls, no planning on coming this way, just things have changed. Maybe I have changed, we played hard all summer, flying here and there having a big time, well there is no big times right now, so I guess I am no fun to be around. But....God has blessed me with a great group of church family. I have one lady in the church who takes me to every appointment, another one who just came by today got me lunch, did my dishes and cleaned the house. It's awesome. I guess in times like these, some people fade in the background and some come forward. I trust God. Thank you for the words. ren

Guest guest
Pam did you have problems with your right arm tingling or when your holding an object and it just drops to the ground. My arm has acting funny lately. My whole body aches and i am now taking coumadin and it gives me a headache. Okay you heard me complain thanks for listening. You take care too now thanks. Iam not sure if its from the chemo i had friday or not. Marik pam0306@... wrote: Marik You should call your onc. They have meds they can give you to help with the nausea. They don't know that you are suffering unless you tell them and we tend to think we are supposed to suffer. Try drinking fluids, jello, get some Ensure, rest, sleep. Hope you are feeling better soon, hugs Pam

I will get some of the tea and mints and i want to thank you for the suggestion. Liebanhaus@... wrote: Marik, I kept a small supply of those chocolate mint pattys on hand when I had my chemo; the peppermint helped settle my stomach. I also had peppermint tea on hand; the warmth was soothing as well. Good luck....definitely call your Onc and let them know what is going on. They may just need to give you a different kind of med to make it easier to deal with it. My worst day was 2 days after my chemo, but by the 3rd day, I was better. Hang in there. Guest guest
Oh when he is here he is here, but he does not want the responsibility of the caring for me or worry. He told me so, because he has four daughters. When he is here he tries to do everything, I think it is a guilt fix for him. Something I don't need. ren

Guest guest
My mom had hair past her shoulders so she went in and had it cut to her shoulders and then just a week or so later decided she needed to go shorter so she had it cut to where it was only about two to three inches long... it really helped her cope with the complete loss of her hair. > Thanks Pam, I was wondering about a vitamin, so I will ask my onc.
