Guest guest
Hi everyone. The decision has been made. Zoe meets with the Orthotist tomorrow to discuss getting her helmet. I have (for now) gotten over the whole " woe is me " feeling and realized that although her condition is mild, I want to give her the best chance in life, and now that I have the power to do something about this, I think we should jump on it. We took her in today for her head/skull x-rays. She did NOT like it, but it went ok other than that. Thankfully they got them in one shot and did not have to do any " retakes " !! I am curious to see the helmets again, I didn't get a real good look yesterday ~ I was too upset!! They said you can pick different designs, which is nice. I plan to get one that will make her even cuter (if that's possible!!) I wanted to thank everyone for the warm welcome. I am sure I will be poking around quite a bit now that we are in this adventure for the next 3-6 months... By the way, I finally got her photo loaded. She is 4 months old in the photo.. Take care everyone, I will post again tomorrow after her appointment. and Zoe..about to get her helmet! 5mos.

Guest guest
Hello This news is wonderful and Zoe will be soo thankful to you for doing this. Is she being casted or scanned? What helmet have you decided on? Please let us know how the appointment goes. I did the sticker deco for my daughter's helmet. It was alot of fun to keep redoing it every week.
