Guest guest
Olivia, That is fantastic news about Jordan's improvement!!! Very dramatic, especially in one his age. I know you must be thrilled. I still remember your story of being unable to pursue treatment until you were in Switzerland, and then of not hearing back from all of the doctors you emailed. What a wonderful result from all of your persistence!! Did you think he had improved that much just from looking at him before Dr. Blecher took the actual measurement? I am looking forward to hearing additional rounding updates, Take care, Christie (Mom to Repo'd Remy) --- In Plagiocephaly , " osalim75 " <osalim75@y...> wrote: > Hi all > > We took Jordan to Dr. Blecher for a check up after wearing his > helmet for 1 month last Saturday. Guest guest
Hi everyone Thanks for your responses and supports on Jordan's progress. I sure am glad I was persistent in finding help for my son, found this board from a member of this group (thank you!) and decided to go ahead with the helmet. Christie, we have actualy noticed the improvement before we took Jordan to see Dr. Blecher. Some of you might have remembered my pp abt it, but we always thought it was because of the new haircut that helped with the 'moulding'. Glad we were wrong:-) As mentioned before, we didn't really expect to see significant improvement in such a period of time and wanted to keep our expectation low. The head does certainly look much better now from the back. The flat side has grown a bit making the 'cone' head on the prominent side less obvious. We hope to continue to see further improvement and rounding tho' we don't really expect to see the same progress again as Jordan's getting older, well..unless his head thinks differently:) I will certainly keep everyone posted on further rounding! Cheers Olivia in Zurich Jordan, GermanCranio 07/02/04 @12.5 mth old PS: We also got a call back from one of the clinics in Zurich I've contacted. That was after Jordan's on the helmet for 2 wks, i.e. over a month after I made the query, just to have an appointment! Glad Dr Blecher came to the rescue much quicker than that. > > Hi all > > > > We took Jordan to Dr. Blecher for a check up after wearing his > > helmet for 1 month last Saturday.
