Guest guest
Hi Dina, I am still learning a lot on the whole Celiac Disease with our 2 year old as well as a lot with the whole kidney and reflux deal. We are learning a lot more on this than I ever knew was out there. I did learn that with all the birth defects out there and if you threw them all in a bag with as common as they are there are more in the urinary tract than any of the others put together! It is amazing. I cannot say if there is a connection between the reflux and kidney problems and Celiac disease or not but I have a few “opinions” on antibiotics and Celiac disease. I have questioned doctors on the relationship between Celiac disease and antibiotics but when they hear the whole answer usually will not go into it with me. As for feeling stupid I know for one I have felt that way more than once and it really is not you are stupid just having to learn about something that no one has ever prepared you for! It isn’t stupidity but just not knowing and there is a big difference. If you don’t believe that then talk to someone who doesn’t understand about a GF diet and see the ones that “knows” all about it. You will see stupid when they state oh just feed her pasta or feed her this whole wheat bread instead of white bread instead. J I have had more than one laugh over someone stating that to me!
