Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- Hi , you've been rebanded too? My goodness, could you tell me why you had to be redone and what made your decision to do it for the second time opposed to a different type? Hi , I had to be rebanded as my first band had slipped, causing a similar situation to the one Gail described. I also suffered very badly from reflux and in fact this has resulted in severe ulceration and inflammation of my oesophagus. I am currently on Losec and hopefully that problem will resolve over the next few months. As for why I opted for a second band rather than some other form of surgery....... I really never considered anything else, because the band was working for me.... at least until the last few months. If this new band does not work as it should, or if (heaven forbid) I should suffer another slippage, then I will definitely look at other options. The only thing that is not an option for me is doing nothing, which would result in my regaining all the weight I've lost......... and I am *not* going back there. All the best, .
