Guest guest
Brad, This email is even better than your last update :-) I am so pleased to hear that is eating and talking some. Tell her we can't wait to get a personal email from her. As a parent myself, I know it must just absolutely break your heart to see your precious daughter suffer like this. I know her family gives her a tremendous support though. I am glad she has you there with her. Let her know we are sending her *hugs* and definitely my prayers are with her and you as well. Guest guest
Hello everyone, Once again I thought I would give an update on 's status. She is doing remarkably better today. She has started talking, although she has a harder time remembering some words and she is still pretty quiet-But hey, We'll take whatever we can get at this point. She has also started eating a little bit(even though the renal diet hospital food here is horrendous!) They checked her for several viruses, all which came back negative, thankfully. The MRI did detect some inflammation of the brain, but the doctors think that it will go down with time. They will do a follow up MRI in a few days. If 's blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature all remain within normal ranges, they will move her out of ICU and into her own room shortly. As some of you might know, ICU is quite a miserable place to be (although, the hospital is in general), so will be much happier once she is moved privately. It is so hard to see my precious child going through this, but I know that with prayers she will get through just fine. It has worked so far-thanks to all of you! Thanks once again for all the support. -Brad
Guest guest
Brad, Thank you so much for the update. It was wonderful when a relative can provide updates! What a enormous relief to hear she is improving! Let's hope gets out of the ICU and out of the hospital altogether fast. Please give all of our love next time you visit.
