Guest guest
To all: This week, I went off the deep end thinking I had a recurrence of my cancer in the mastectomy scar. It is possible that I do, and it will be checked out soon. The depression got so bad, I skipped taking my Arimidex for one day thinking it would help me feel better, and it did. Maybe it was a good feeling from not taking the Arimidex, I don't know, but for some reason this thought came to me: " If ever, or whenever, there is a recurrence or metastasis it will simply be a fact. Then, I will do something about it, and keep hope. " For some reason, this completely calmed me. It is still doing it. There is no particular discipline, just the thought. I'm back on the Arimidex and feel nervous and depressed again (the Arimidex IS causing that); NEVERTHELESS, that thought still has me perfectly calm. I don't know if you can get it, or if it helps anyone, but thought I'd share this. I hope it will last. Love to all, Janie
Guest guest
Thank you, Ren. I am still relaxed about the possible " fact " of having a recurrence. Now, I'm wishing I could accept taking Arimidex the same way, because I really must continue to take it. Anyway, thanks for your thought, Janie > Do not fear, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I > will strengthen you and help you. I will uphold you with my righteous right > hand. Hang in there and think positive and remember who made you in the first > place, if he made you he can heal you. > > love, hugs and prayers, > ren
Guest guest
Janie, I have a friend who did have a recurrence on the scar tissue but she is still alive and well after 5 years. Keep up the positive attitude. I believe in being positive and I am proud of you for taking that stance.
