Hi Char... My son Ignacio is also getting DOC treatment at CT Miami.

I can tell you Im very happy with the results we are getting and the

personnel is just wonderful. Both of he orthos are really

professional and they take their time to explain everything and

answer every possible question you may have.

Ignacio, who is a twin, was born six weeks ahead of schedule so, even

though he is almost 9 months old, his adjusted age is 7 and a half.

For what they have explained to me at CT you're banding at a

wonderful age so I would expect that you guys get great results.

If you have any questions conerning the facilities at CT Miami, just

let me know and I'll try to answer them.

Annie

thank you ann- it is nice to hear words of encouragement since for so long it was just my husband and myself who saw there was something wrong with thomas' head and were continually told there was nothing we could do and his head would always be like that. i agree CT is wonderful. i will keep you postedon his progress. thanks again- char"Ana B. Hi,

In the photos section we have a before and after folder. Look in the

DOCband file in the folders 19.5 month old, on, Jordyn M and

Nolan and . All of them received really nice correction.

Please keep us posted.

Hi Char! My twin boys had severe/very severe brachy. We started with

DOC bands much later than you are (the boys were almost 10 months),

and we got some good correction. Not to say that I wouldn't have

liked more correction, but they did good considering where and when

we started. I would think with you starting in a band at 7

months, you would get excellent results!

It's been almost a year now since our boys were first banded. Just

the other day we were watching home videos from last year and I was

amazed at how far they have come (with their headshapes). Their

headshapes are still wider than the average child, but so much more

normal looking than before band treatment. Before they were banded,

we got stares and comments from strangers about their headshapes, now

no one even notices (or at least they don't say anything!). I'll

never regret banding them (we had to fight our ped and ins to get it

done). My only regret is not pushing for it sooner so that they

could've received even more correction. Good luck - I'm sure

will do fabulous and you'll be happy with your decision to band!

mom to Nolan & (DOC banded in 2003 - Nolan 1 band,

2 bands), now 20 months
