a question about other orthos? for a friend

i have a question for someone, if your just got a band your child is 8mos old and they tell you they dont need to see you but once a month unless there is a problem would you think that was ok,

someone asked me this and corbyn who started treatment at 8mos have been seen 3 times in 3wks and she said he shoudlnt go to 2wks yet we go back again next friday, so i am not sure if that is standard for others babys to only need to be seen once a month?
