Welcome to Medifocus! http://www.medifocus.com/vguide2.asp?gid=NR015 & a=a & assoc=Google & keyword=RSD

Has anyone viewed this manual? It cost 25$ for electronic version for 55 pages... Just wondering if it is worth the cost..

Does anyone know some good books on RSD or have websites that are really informative. I am looking for pictures and stories and different descriptive symptoms.. to see if my condition matches..

Thanks for your thoughts..

There are a lot of good websites, several/most of which have been posted here.

I have recently ordered & purchased a book entitled "Living With RSDS" by Lang and Moskovitz (published 2003). As a matter of fact, I purchased two: one for the Big Sis, the other for me.

I can tell you, Nan, because the Sis and I have our heads into two arenas for which there is no cure (RSD and Hepatitis C), it is absolutely true that there simply isn't a book published that would provide information as up-to-date as information I get off the internet. As a matter of fact, it often happens that when the Big Sis goes in to see her doctors, they will sit down and listen to what she has to say, because she is more current on what is coming down the pikeway, as well as how patients respond to various treatments, than her own doctors are. Now isn't that sad and sorry !!!

Good luck.

Hi ,

Good to hear from you! I was wondering about you, what is new?

How is Big Sis doing?

Anyway I am treated the same when I go to my doc, I am seated in his

office, not one of the rooms with a paper robe on! He and his

colleagues do seem to want to pick my brain, it is a teaching

hospital also so I guess that is part of the reason. They especially

wanted to pick my brain after the symposium in Aug of last year.

Hugs and a pain free minute,
