Guest guest
Barb, Thank you so much for your soup recipe. Is it necessary to use red potatoes or is that your preference? I have a bunch of potatoes but I do not have any reds. Will it make a difference in taste? That sounds yummy for dinner tomorrow!
Guest guest
I really haven't noticed that if it makes a difference. I think either one would be the same. Enjoy! Guest guest
Barb, Thank you for the recipe for potato soup. We had that for lunch today and it not only was easy but everyone cleaned it up! Even my 2-year-old Celiac cleaned up her bowl! I didn’t have any ham so I left that out but it would be even better with the ham. I was also thinking that it would be a great soup to make into clam chowder. We had been in kind of a rut for eating the same meals over and over so it was a nice change.
Guest guest
I am so glad that you enjoyed it. I know what you mean about the rut --- I am getting really tired of the same old thing for meals! I am so excited to try some of the new recipes that are being posted by others as well. Thank you all! Barbara RE: Chunky Potato Soup Recipe Barb, Thank you for the recipe for potato soup. We had that for lunch today and it not only was easy but everyone cleaned it up! Guest guest
I fixed a chicken nuggets meal and had comments like "we like chicken in the Nesco better" (the main way I fix chicken). I had to tell my family that I was tired of the same old chicken and that I wanted to add new ways to cook it. They all decided that they did like it after all. Even my picky 5 y.o.
