Guest guest
I just started tamoxifen again last Monday. I was on it after my surgery while I was waiting to start chemo. It really didn't bother me at all. I hope I don't gain any weight from it as I gained to much weight while I was on chemo. I started walking this week and am doing pretty good with that. I saw the surgeon on Wed, and he thinks he feels something in my right breast now. I am having an MRI done on Friday so I hope everything is OK. The Drs are having me do an MRI from now on because I had three spots on the left breast and one was found on the mammo, one on the ultrasound and all three where seen on the MRI and feel that the MRI is a much better test.I had a needle biopsy done on the right breast also when they did the left but everything was fine in March. I had the mastectomy on the left with tram reconstruction but that didn't take so now I will be starting reconstruction in Jan. Well I am just hoping that everything is ok with the right breast now. Oh well, I am leaving to go to Vegas next Monday, told my husband we have to get away for a few days before they want to do anything else, need a little vacation from the drs. The chemo I had was CEF and I did fine with it. I never got sick, just after the 4th treatment I was getting a little winded but that was really the only thing I got. I hope everyone is doing good, and thank god I found this group, everyone has helped me a lot!! I haven'tbeen posting but now I hope to read and post more often..........Donna
