I know, we get them out here pretty bad. The Northridge quake is the one I

talked about earlier. I think they said it hit us as a 5 which is pretty

strong.

I dont want to take any chances...

I live about 1.5 miles from where the Northridge quake was, and I do not

want to even THINK about that type of quake again. I didn't sleep for more

than 2 hours a night for probably 6 months after that one. I've been

through others, but that one really rattled me.

Joya surmised on another list we are on together that tonight's California

quake may have been due to the major one in El Salvador.

I don't blame you.

Oh gosh, I forgot how close you live! Gramma lived about the same distance

and she was really shaken by that... I am glad nothing really bad happened

to you, but I know the terror of never knowing WHEN ... When the Sierra

Madre one hit, a few hours later the Big Bear one hit and that was awful...

Ohhhhhhhhhh, I hate thinking about them but you have to living here... Stay

safe, my friend... I'll be thinking about you...

Oh and about what Joya said, I think that maybe the plates under the earth

that shook El Salvador probably upset them all the way up here so we are

having residual quakes... so I think she's right... I HOPE she's right...

>DH is flying to San Fransisco today is that near the quake?

>Lyssa

Nowhere near the California quake. San Fran is about a 6 hour drive by car

from where the CA quake was.
