the way you describe it (hurts more when bending over) and the

location around your eyes, leads me to believe it is sinus

headaches ...but also this can happen if you have excess

progesterone - or an imblance in estrogen/progesterone...in which

case, I think you would have the headache everyday...but take notice

of when you are having them - if it relates at all to when you are

on/off your progesterone. I really do feel it is sinus though - more

humid conditions should make a sinus headache less bothersome and

dryness would make you more prone to them...so there are a few things

to try in order to figure out what it is

Headaches

Hi EveryOne,

This morning I woke up with a terrible headache. In the past few months I

have had one of these headaches about once a week or once every two weeks.

Always when I wake up from sleep. They last for a few hours after I get up

and then they are gone. I have noticed on the temperature chart I have been

keeping for the past month that there is usually a noticeable dip in my

temperature on the days I wake up with the headache.

They hurt the most when I bend down to reach for something on the ground, or

as I said, lying in bed. They are not in the back of my head but more to the

top and behind the eyes. Prior to this time, I have hardly had any headaches

in my entire life.

Is there a connection between hypothyroid and headaches? Could it be

adrenals? Anyone else have this or know about it?

Thanks,

Bev

I used to have chronic headaches... since the multi-dosing of thyroid and

adding the adrenal.... no more headaches...

Want to try an experiment? Next time you wake with one... grab a bath

towel... fold it into quarters the long way, so it's scarf like.... and

wear it around the back of your neck, like a scarf...... See if the pain

goes away sooner..... You're aiming toward warming and relaxing the

muscles in your neck and shoulders.... Move around normally... but with

the gentle warmth....

I had raised myself up to 3 grains of armour and started having headeaches that

lasted 3 weeks til I lowered my armour back down to 2 grains. I am thinking

that it is adrenals that is causing the headaches. I will get the results of my

saliva test this week and will know for sure then. The reason I think it is

adrenals is that when one started around 3am I took one Isocort and it went

away.

I have had headaches all my life and use to think they were sinus headaches too.

But I had a physician tell me once that if the headache didn't go away with

taking a decongestant then it probably was not a sinus headache.

Hi Bev, That sure sounds sinus related to me. I was always told that

sinus/congestion/infections all go along with hypo. And I had them terribly.

They would always go into sinus migraines.

Since I " ve been on my adrenal support...NO headaches at all. It's weird. If

the adrenal support helps with that I'll never go off of it.

I have no iron clad proof other than myself.

Are you on adrenal support?

I can't wait to get my Isocort....trying it for the first time...watching for

the UPS man patiently...well not really LOL
