Sorry to freak you out... the information actually should be

liberating. Knowing the truth and what 'could' result if left on a

gluten diet is good to know. If you maintain a gf diet you could avoid

and even reverse damage that has already been done! :)

Thanks, Priscilla! The up side of this IS indeed that I am grateful

we discovered it so early in her young life and hopefully can avoid

so much of this...you have always had such detailed and helpful

answers to my questions and I truly do appreciate it. Thank you!

Priscilla, research shows that a gluten-free diet for a celiac/gluten-sensitive can reverse some or all of neurological damage due to gluten. It depends on how much damage has done.

I don't know for sure, but I think young age could be a factor indicating more reversal of neurological damage for a celiac/gluten-sensitive with a gluten-free diet.
