Guest guest
OK, now I am confused. I heard that my fibermyaligia was just under treated thyroid. Are you saying it IS a separate disease or condition? Re: Thyroid Hormone Resistance or Conversion problems? OK. Here's a stab. Thyroid hormone resistance is the person who has what appears to be a great T3 level, but still has hypo symptoms, and thus, they are required to have VERY high levels of T3 to get the same effect of you and I with " normal " high levels. Folks with Fibromyalgia appear to fall in this catagory, say the Lowes. On the other hand, conversion problems result in a high level of T4, and lower level of T3, because they are not easily converting.Or, they are converting much of the T4, to reverse T3. Now to back that up with research and internet links.........I'll come back with some and we'll see how close my stabs are with reality. Guest guest
Thanks. I will pass this on to someone else that asked Re: Thyroid Hormone Resistance or Conversion problems? > OK, now I am confused. I heard that my fibermyaligia was just under treated thyroid. Are you saying it IS a separate disease or condition? I can be undertreated thryoid...some doctors have seen it totally disappear with enough Armour....but some fibro is due to other causes...some adrenals, some chronic fatigue from viral or bacterial causes (this was my case)....lots of thigs that fibroyalgia is involved in. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
