Guest guest
Elaine, I don't think a zucchini would work unless you press a lot of the liquid out after you cook it. Zucchini is much " wetter " than butternut squash or pumpkin. Jody mom to -5 and -7 SCD 13 months
Guest guest
Elaine, You can buy plain frozen cooked winter squash. Nothing added. Patti Zucchini in pumpkin pie filling recipe? My ds loves the pumpkin pie filling - I've been using golden nugget squash in place of the pumpkin. Now it's gotten impossible to find a larger type squash for the recipe. Has anyone used zucchini in this recipe? I didn't want to waste them if it doesn't substitute well.
