The Most Important Body Part=============================My mother used to ask me:"What is the most important part of the body?"Through the years I would take a guess at what I thought was the correct answer. When I was younger, I thought sound was very important to us as humans, so I said, "My ears, Mommy."She said, "No Many people are deaf. But you keep thinking about it and I will ask you again soon."Several years passed before she asked me again. Since making my first attempt, I had contemplated the correct answer. So this time I told her, "Mommy, sight is very important to everybody, so it must be our eyes. She looked at me and told me, "You are learning fast, but the answer is not correct because there are many people who are blind."Stumped again, I continued my quest for knowledge. Over the years, Mother asked me a couple more times and

always her answer was, "No, but you are getting smarter every year, my child."Then last year, my grandpa died.Everybody was hurt.Everybody was crying.Even my father cried.I remember that especially because it was only the second time I saw him cry. My Mom looked at me when it was our turn to say our final good-bye to Grandpa. She asked me, "Do you know the most important body part yet, my dear?"I was shocked when she asked me this now.I always thought this was a game between her and me.She saw the confusion on my face and told me, "This question is very important. It shows that you have really lived in your life. For every body part you gave me in the past, I have told you was wrong and I have given you an example why.But today is the day you need to learn this important lesson."She looked down at me as only a mother

can.I saw her eyes well up with tears. She said, "My dear, the most important body part is your shoulder."I asked, "Is it because it holds up my head?"She replied, "No, it is because it can hold the head of a friend or a loved one when they cry.Everybody needs a shoulder to cry on sometime in life, my dear.I only hope that you have enough love and friends that you will always have a shoulder to cry on when you need it."Then and there I knew the most important body part is not a selfish one. It is sympathetic to the pain of others.People will forget what you said...People will forget what you did....But people will NEVER forget how you made them feel.Author Unknown True or not, the story makes you stop and think.

Ok it's official, I have posted a pic of me. It was right before my surgery and I was on my cruise with my guy. The same guy that is now distant from me somewhat. The one that all of a sudden confesses that he is seeing his other girlfriend and wants us all think that is the greatest thing since underwear. NOT! Anyway couldn't cut him out to post it so there he is. I thought I loved him, it doesn't pay to think sometimes does it? Are you married ?

That must be hard to hear that. I would wear the shirt too, maybe you can make the shirt a game, a no no you can't take the shirt off, make him want to so bad even though he knows he can't. Maybe it can be a sexy shirt that hints what is underneath, but it really takes the focus to another part of the body. I am glad that you have someone on a day to day basis. That is good.

You are absolutely beautiful.......thanks for sharing your photo, its

so nice to put a face to the name.. anyone else ? lol

Yes I'm married Ren, I kind of crashed last week....after my surgeon

told me he wanted to take my other breast......

I've been put on anti depressants. I talked to my husband tonight

and he told me that it wasn't exactly a turn on to see a huge scar.

I cried...he said he still loved me though and our sex life is

still good as long as I wear a shirt..:( .......

I had a bone scan and ultra sound of my left breast today....

Will ring on Thursday to see how I went

After my special Valentine's day this week, I decided to write a story and send it to the local newspaper in hopes the young girl would see it and know how much she touched me with her gift. Here is the story.

My Wonderful Valentine

Do you believe in Angels? I do. On Monday, February 14, 2005, I had just completed a lengthy test to see if I have a problem with my heart and was feeling just a bit anxious. I was also feeling very hungry because I had fasted since midnight. I decided to stop at the Sonic on N. 7th Street in West Monroe on my way home. I thought I might feel better if I had a quick lunch.

I was sitting in my van eating my chilidog and watching the people who were passing and who were serving the customers because I am a people watcher and enjoy seeing what people are doing. I noticed a small girl who seemed to be lost. She was walking in front of all of the cars that were parked and seemed to be looking for someone. I thought she was looking for her parents and couldn’t remember where they were parked.

Then she arrived in front of my van and came to the window beside me.

She had a beautiful smile so I put the window down and asked if I could help. She did not say a word, but she handed me the object she was holding and took off with another sweet smile. The object was a beautiful hand-made valentine. I thought my heart would burst with surprise and happiness and I started to cry with tears of joy. This young girl seemed to be an angel in disguise for me that day. She gave me a gift of love and brightened my day with just a smile and a valentine. I would like to thank her for the gift she gave me that day but I do not know her name except for her first name which is Madeline. If you are reading this, Madeline, I would like to thank you for your wonderful gift. You made a “senior” citizen’s day and I will remember you, especially on days when I am in need of a bit of cheer.
