Guest guest
I am back home from first Chemo session (A/C) and all is well. There were no changes noted while getting either of the two drugs and when all done, my husband and I stopped at the grocery store for a few things. Now, maybe in a day or two I may feel some changes occur (fatigue, nausea), but right now, I feel darn good. My spirits are lifted even. The fight is on! Hardly slept all night between the hot flashes and the chills. Not hungry and have that upset tummy feeling with a touch of nausea/diarrhea too. I suppose it is just nerves because I haven't been taking any medications. Even my little toy dogs turned away from their morning " dinner " today, which is not common, so maybe they are feeling my stress too. Sure appreciate the chemo suggestions you all gave recently and will definitely be taking ice and popcicles to my treatment today, plus avoiding Chinese Food and Bourban for dinner (LOL). Actually, I may go to Jack In The Box and get one of the true milkshakes which is some Malted Chocolate thing that tastes incredibly good. If time permits, Ren, I will let you know how my first treatment goes today so you can add it to your Chemo notes for your pending treatment beginning the 11th of November. See ya all later.
