Guest guest
Ronda I will be praying for you tomorrow. Hopefully this will just be a little bump in the road. You are lucky to have a doctor who is so aggressive about your care! What a wonderful thing that is. Good luck tomorrow and I will be watching for news from your Mom. Prayers in hand Pam

I haven't been feeling very well and I felt a lump in my chest so I called the doctor to see what he thinks and he told me that he would have his nurse call me first thing this morning to get an appointment to see him. So this morning I got the call and the nurse said he wanted to see me ASAP so off to the doctors I went as soon as I got showered. He told me that I was weak and tired do to the high dose of chemothearpy that they have been giving me which I could have told him that but than he wanted to check this lump out in my chest to see what is going on. I didn't make a big deal I just thought maybe it was from healing from my last mastectomy but it wasn't. He said there is definetely a mass there so lets get a MRI so I can take a better look at it so off to the hospital I went for the MRI. While I was getting dress after the MRI they told me that my doctor was there reading my MRI and not to leave he wants to talk to me right away. I hate that when they tell you that they want to talk to you right away. So, I waited for him! When he came out to talk to me he said that there is a mass 3 cm and it needs to be biopsy ASAP. They gave me a list of different biospies they could do but he said the best bet for you is having surgery to remove it completely and send it off to the lab and I want to do it today but I can't get a operation room so I want to do it tomorrow morning and you will need to stay in the hospital afterwards. Usually he said they do it outpatient but I am to high risk. So, tomorrow I am going to go vote and than I am going to go straigth to the hospital for this surgical biopsy and I will have to stay at the hospital because of the high risk I am currently due to all the chemotherapy and radation that they have been doing on me. I have written nne and told her and my Mom will write her to let her know how things turned out. Right now are prayers is that it is just a mass and not cancer but the doctor is afraid it maybe cancer again. I am trying to stay positive like always I keep fighting until I have no more to fight with and I would encourage all of you who have just been diagonsed or who are just starting their chemotherapy or radation to keep positave and fight with all you have in you. That is the only way you can win! I am ready for 2005 to come maybe I will have a better year! Remember everyone go out and vote tomorrow and keep me in your prayers tomorrow. Thanks for listening and nne will let you all know how things went with my surgery. Prayers going out to all of you and your families.
