drove by your town enroute to Vegas. We resisted the urge to gently

if anyone will house me for a night or two I'd love to come down for one of your

luncheon's if it's on a weekend *G*

after I dropped Darcy off at the Airport I called my dad to let him know I was

'on the road' only to get on the road the WRONG way....and I found myself

heading BACK towards Vegas....LOL so I figured I'd hit the Luxor for a bit of

light gambling....well I walked in with $70 and an hour later I left with $100

LOL .... gotta love taking their money, even if it was ONLY 30 bucks.....

I started for home at 12:30 pm and promptly hit that wonderful thing was call

TRAFFIC lol

anyways I had an uneventful drive home that took me just under 8 1/2 hours.

today sure was a long day at work.... but I too had a BLAST meeting everyone and

I know Darcy and I had a great time just hanging out.

celebration in LAS VEGAS October 14-16, 2005! <Br><br> In attendance

were Robyn and from Orange County, California; Darcy from

Oregon and Ruth Ann from Northern California.

We met up Saturday morning at the Stratosphere Tower for a Meet and

Greet. Ruth Ann and were the only brave souls who dared

experience the thrill rides! Next stop: The Venetian Hotel for lunch

and more fun. The Grand Canals offer awesome scenery, strolling

costumed entertainers and atmosphere amid the gondola rides.

and Robyn hit the shops, favoring the Fashion Show Mall on

the Strip. Why? Because it offers the gorgeous clothings of bebe AND

Ann plus Starbucks. What else could a girl ask for? Ruth Ann

went gambling while Darcy went looking for trouble!

Dinner was held at Kahunaville in Treasure Island. Love their bar!!!

Mmmmmm, their Bloody s made my night. We followed dinner and

drinks with some shopping in the hotel shoppes before staking out

choice spots to watch the Sirens Show. After venturing down to the

Bellagio we walked over to the Paris hotel for more gambling and

sightseeing. I swear Ruth Ann has a secret life. She knows her way

around a casino! Sigh...All good things must come to an end...and it

was 2 AM...so we all headed back to our hotels for some sleep and

our Sunday getaways.

After some follow up shopping at the Fashion Show Mall, and

Robyn set their cross hairs for the Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace

before grabbing lunch and Iced Lattes for the road back to OC.

We may have arrived home under storm clouds and the first rain of

the season but nothing could rain on the parade of our fabulous

Vegas weekend! Wish everyone could have joined us!!! Darcy and Ruth

Hi Ruth Ann,

Me and also got lost on the freeway near the airport. We

headed towards instead of LA.

is a wife and mother with 2 small kids so she had to get

home. We also hit traffic but she knew a shortcut through Barstow.

Glad you arrived home safe and sound!! Nice meeting you.

with the dietitian from kaiser and she said that next step will be in 2-3 weeks
