A local PT outpatient clinic in my area sees all

sports medicine cases. Because they do not see any

Medicare patients, the PT feels it is okay to have 20

or so patients per therapist per day, and often has

3-4 patients at a time going. I know that we have been

discussing the AMA CPT codes specifying one on one

contact by the therapsit. How well is this enforced?

Who investigates this private insurances or the AMA?
