Guest guest
It has to be stated in your practice act. In Florida PT, physical therapy, physiotherapy etc are specified and protected. It's not limited to the extreme of labeling a staff member a " physiotherapist " or listing PT in your specialties or services offered. These cannot even be implied. Texas is very similar to Florida's act regarding this. I reported a physician who simply referenced physical therapy. His site stated " ..our personal trainers are taking physical therapy to a whole new level. " He merely referenced physical therapy comparing his " trainers " services to PT and was ordered to remove it from his site.
