Guest guest
I would like to give my son some veggie juice. For the people who do that can you please tell me what veggies you use and how much? Thank you, (mom to London SCD for 3 months and doing great)
Guest guest
Hi erin You can use lots of different veggies. I find I have to add them to the fruit juices because Sam just won't drink them on their own. Today we made pears, carrot, cucumber, celery. If you're really wanting to do this there is a really great book called Raw Juices can save your life by Dr Cabot. There are receipes for a variety of ailments but what I find great is that at the front of the book she lists vegies and fruits and what their benefits are. I find that great in determining which veggies to juice. Say carrots are healing, as are cucumbers. Cucumbers and celery are calming. She says that drinking 1 glass of carot juice is the equivalent of eating 1/2 a kilo of carrots. Graet isn't it. Especially for our fussy eaters. So even when Sam won't eat all his veggies I don't worry too much because I am giving him the veggie juices. Hope that helps Mum to (3yrs) - reovering ASD - SCD 4 months > I would like to give my son some veggie juice. For the people who do > that can you please tell me what veggies you use and how much? Guest guest
Kenzie just won't touch a juice unless it's the grape juice. What's the best combination of fruits and veggies that really taste sweet so that he might try them? He eats ZERO veggies. Thanks Penny Kenzie SCD 18 wks Re: veggie juice Hi erin You can use lots of different veggies. I find I have to add them to the fruit juices because Sam just won't drink them on their own.
