Guest guest
Hi Crystal, nne in our chapter posted an excellent article by Mark A. Sircus Ac., OMD. He has some important comments about candida and heavy metals that is hard to find. The End of Antibiotics and the Rise of Iodine as an Effective Alternative http://www.naturalnews.com/022800.html Very few doctors understand the relationship between candida and heavy metal (you won't find this information in many books). Mark says: > The extensive use of antibiotics will make the condition of Candida much worse because it reduces heavy metal excretion, which is a food source for the yeast like organism and also killing the beneficial bacteria at the same time. > I have had to work on heavy metals in my body to get rid of candida. Andy Cutler's two books are guides for a self-help removal of heavy metal (listed below). I use DMSA to chelate heavy metals (DMSA is safe for children and it's available over-the-counter from vrp.com). I've had two hair analyses from two different labs and they both showed that I have a significiant amount of lead, cadmium and copper. Copper is an essential mineral but too much can be toxic. Mercury hides in most hair analysis reports. Andy Cutler describes the signs that indicate hidden mercury. Although I have never had cavities and I do not have amalgam in my mouth, I still found his Amalgam Illness book to be useful. He explains how to cycle on and off of DMSA. Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities Dr. Andy Cutler ’s book is a guide to the use of hair analysis for understanding the confusing world of heavy metal poisoning diagnosis and treatment. Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment Dr. Andy Cutler Web Site: www.noamalgam.com A self-help book on chronic mercury poisoning that provides information about how to identify mercury poisoning and how to cure it. DirectLabs.com sells a Doctor's Data hair analysis kit that is usually only available to health care practitioners. Important note: DMSA chelates zinc. I take extra zinc when I take DMSA. This is particularly important for people who have high copper (zinc is antagonistic to copper). Jo Candida Book Recommendations?????
